Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic drainage is not a replacement for medical care and may not be appropriate for certain conditions.

This massage uses very light pressure and is not intended for deep muscle work.

Lymphatic drainage is a light-touch, rhythmic therapy designed to support the body's lymphatic system - a vital network responsible for immune function, fluid balance, and waste removal. Unlike massage, this technique uses slow precise movements to encourage lymph flow rather than working deeply into the muscles.

This modality is especially supportive for those experiencing swelling, inflammation, sluggish circulation, fatigue, or a feeling of "heaviness" in the body. Sessions are deeply calming and are often described as subtle and restorative.

Steph approaches lymphatic drainage honoring the body's natural rhythms and never forcing release. Each session is adapted to you.

Lymphatic drainage can be beneficial during many seasons of life, not only after surgery. This gentle modality is well-suited for individuals seeking subtle yet powerful support for the body's natural healing and detoxification processes.

This is great for:

  • Recovering from surgery or medical procedures (with provider's clearance)

  • Postpartum, supporting fluid balance, inflammation reduction, and gentle recovery

  • Experiencing swelling, fluid retention, or inflammation

  • Living with chronic illness, autoimmune conditions, or ongoing fatigue

  • Feeling sluggish, heavy, or puffy

  • navigating hormonal shifts, stress, or seasonal transitions

  • Recovering from illness, prolonged stress, or burnout

  • Seeking immune system support or nervous system regulation
